The project

A compact pop-up in Seoul

i House Korea was a temporary IQOS space created to introduce the IQOS ILUMA i device to legal-age nicotine users. Set inside a busy commercial mall in Yeouido, Seoul, it had to stand out in a crowded retail setting from a small footprint, while balancing a premium, educational experience with speed of build, regulatory compliance and clear brand recognition.

The defining element is the brand's key motif, reworked as a large sculptural form that serves as entrance portal, overhead landmark and navigational cue. Visible from several levels of the mall, it anchors the architecture and gives a temporary structure a sense of permanence. Inside, the plan works as a compact technology capsule: a welcome point for orientation, a central point of sale and secondary zones for exploring features, so legal age nicotine users can take a quick walkthrough.

Layered lighting picks out key moments without clutter, a restrained palette supports a premium feel, and integrated screens were calibrated to remain legible in the bright mall, with digital content used sparingly alongside tactile physical displays.
